Admission Process

Students must submit their application forms to the college office within the prescribed period determined by the affiliating University, after obtaining the receipt. The list of eligible students will be published on the notice board based on merit. Personal information will not be provided. Hence, students must stay in regular contact with the college. The fees must be deposited at the college’s cash counter within seven days after approval by the Principal, otherwise admission will be considered canceled.

Documents Required for Admission:

  1. Three sets of self-attested copies of the mark sheet.
  2. Four passport-size photos.
  3. Character certificate.
  4. Original transfer certificate (T.C.) with its photocopy.
  5. Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC), if applicable.
  6. Original migration certificate for students from other universities.
  7. Original eligibility certificate for students from outside Chhattisgarh Board/Universities.
  8. Gap certificate if applicable.

Admission Renewal:

Students who passed the previous semester must submit the completed admission application within 15 days of the result declaration to gain admission into the next semester.

Fee Payment Rules:

  1. The student must pay the tuition fees at the Chhattisgarh Bank counter and submit the receipt to the college.
  2. Fees must be deposited on or before the scheduled date; a late fine of ₹100 per day will be charged thereafter.
  3. The amount of fees is subject to change; all orders concerning fee structure must be followed mandatorily.
  4. Enrollment fees shall only be paid by those students who are not enrolled in Pandit Ravishankar University or any other University.
  5. Residence fees shall only be paid by students who come from outside Chhattisgarh.

Special Notes:

  1. Application for refund of security deposit must be submitted and approved by the Principal at least one week before leaving the college.
  2. Security deposit shall not be refunded without submitting the original receipt and identity card.
  3. If a student leaves the college mid-semester, transfer fees will be applicable.
  4. From time to time, guest lectures and workshops with subject matter experts may be organized.

Scholarships:

According to government guidelines, students belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/OBC and economically backward classes will be provided scholarships under the National Scholarship Scheme.

Timing:

All classes will run as per the college timetable — from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Attendance Rules:

  1. For All Graduation Program- A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory in all subjects as per University guidelines to appear in examinations.
  2. For Education Program- As per University Act 1973, section 185, students must maintain 75% attendance for eligibility to appear in the University exams. This includes 80% attendance in theoretical classes and 90% attendance in practical classes.

Medium of Instruction:

The medium of instruction is Hindi and English. Students may write their answers in either Hindi or English in the annual examination.
